pentecost – consecration of the Holy Spirit
May God bless you, dear people in Christ. Why is the day of Pentecost celebrated in the church? Because in the day of Pentecost the Holy Spirit descended on the apostles. Because the Lord Jesus told the disciples before going to heaven, that I will not leave you alone. I’ll send a helper for you. Because the Lord Jesus knew that the disciples would not be able to work without the help of the Holy Spirit. That’s why the Lord Jesus says

22 When he had said this, he breathed on them; And he said to them: You get a holy ghost. John 20:22. It is written in this verses that the Lord Jesus gave the Holy Spirit to the disciples. But it was yet to come officially. And he came in the day of Pentecost.
And I will pray to the Father, and he will give you another helper, that he may always be with you. John 14:16; But the helper, that is, the Holy Spirit whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things, and will remind you of everything I have said to you. John 14:26; But when that helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, that is, the Spirit of truth that comes out from the Father, he will testify about me. John 15:26; But I tell you the truth, that my going is good for you, because if I do not go, that assistant will not come to you, but if I go, I will send it to you. John 16: 7
It was at that time when the day of Pentecost came and all the disciples were gathered in one place, suddenly a storm-like sound was heard from the sky and the whole house, where they were sitting, echoed. They saw a kind of fire which split into tongues and came to a stand on each of them. They all became filled with the Holy Spirit and started speaking different languages according to the boon given by the Holy Spirit. Righteous Jews from all the nations of the earth lived in Jerusalem at that time. Many people gathered to hear that voice. They were amazed, because everyone was listening to the disciples speaking in their own language. Apostle 2:1-7
The disciples were locked in a room in fear. But when the Holy Spirit descended on the apostles, they left the house and started preaching the good news of the Lord. Because they got the power. The way other languages are being spoken in the church nowadays. People listen to him, but cannot understand him. But the language that the apostles spoke on the day of Pentecost, people of all kinds of languages were surprised to hear in their respective languages.
“On the day of Pentecost, about three thousand people hear the apostles’ baptism, and join them. Apostle 2:41” The day of Pentecost establishes the first church. Since then, the Holy Spirit has been working among us.
Not only the apostles, but everyone can receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. “But for this you must repent and be baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. Apostle 2:38” The Holy Spirit descends upon them, whose mind is pure and holy. Therefore, keep yourself pure and pure. Because people get entangled in sin and oppose the Holy Spirit.
Therefore it is written in the apostle 7: 50, “The fanatics! You neither want to listen nor understand. You always oppose the Holy Spirit, as your ancestors used to do. “
People of the world reject the gift of the Holy Spirit. But they accept the gift of the world with joy. Because it is easy. That is, people find it easy to sin. But it takes trouble to obey God. If you are a member of the church, then you must receive the Holy Spirit. Therefore, ask God. Just as a child stubbornly asks the parents, similarly you also keep asking. If the Lord can give the Holy Spirit to the apostles, will you not give it! This is not the case. But for this you should repent and ask God.

Compassionate Lord, today I specially request all the pastor’s of the world to grant them the gift of the Holy Spirit. So that you can tell your education properly to the people.
